These are the playgrounds of Missile Fest, where the sky becomes your canvas and the missile launcher your brush... sort of.
Embark on a journey where every missile is different.
Choose your targeting system and configure things your way.
Will you opt for precision or embrace the unpredictable?
The choice is yours as you navigate the skies with the targeting system of your preference.
However, be mindful, this isn't just about destruction.
It's about testing you CPU's limit.
How many missiles until it crashes?
Who knows... Its time to find out!

Note:
Keep in mind that it is an earlier version (0.3) with just the barebones of the project.
Features
The game is currently being developed and in early access, the core features are done on the 0.4 version and I'm working on adding more features and content as we progress in the next steps of development.
Completed Features
- Multiple Guidance Systems: Experiment with a variety of guidance systems to manipulate the trajectory of your missiles.
- Customizable Barrage: Adjust settings of the missile launcher to your liking.
- Auto-Tracking: Let the game aim for you with automatic systems, if you want.
- Auto-Firing: Sit back and relax as the game also fires away with automatic systems, if you want.
- Smart-er Targets: I taught them to use evasive manoeuvres and launch flares.
- Itano Style: Unleash a display of missiles in the anime way, more than its reasonable because it looks cool.
- Multiple Camera Angles: Watch the action unfold from the perspective of your choice.
- Sandbox Style Chaos: Explore a playground of destruction where the sky's the limit and there are no micro-transactions to stop you.
Planned Features
- Be the Pilot: Change perspectives and try to dodge the barrage yourself. If you're feeling lucky...
- Missile Camera: Follow along the journey of where the missile is to where it isn't.
- Choose Your Time: Do you like sunsets more than sunrises? You will be able to alternate between them.
- More Customization: Even more settings to fiddle with and make the perfect fireworks display.

How it started
I was trying out some VFX and made a simple toy to test out the missiles, there the idea of making a small sandbox style game came up and here we are now.
The earliest version of the game. The launcher was made out of cubes.
Roadmap
The roadmap is also available on Codecks, there you can see what I'm actively working on in the game.
The projects is currently on version 0.4, packaging 0.5 and WIP towards 0.7.
The first playable alpha version is now available, check the dates below for more information on the planned release dates.

How to Play & Controls
Aim | Mouse Movement |
Shoot / Fire | Left Click / Space Bar |
Pause | Escape, Pause Break, P keys. |
Throttle - Only v0.7+ | Left Shift and Left Control. Double tap for quick increase / decrease. |
Pitch - Only v0.7+ | W and S keys or Up and Down arrows. |
Roll - Only v0.7+ | A and D keys or Left and Right arrows. |
Yaw - Only v0.7+ | Q and E keys or Comma and Period keys. |
Countermeasures - Only v0.7+ | F or Backspace key. |
Use your mouse to configure the launcher and use the in-game configuration UI panels to your liking.
On the very top, you can click the arrows on the side of the panel name to change panels.
Tips:
- The game should try to open in full screen the first time.
- In case you need to change that, in a Windows you can use Alt + Enter to change to window mode and back to full screen.
- Although the window is resizable, this game works best on a 16:9 aspect ratio.
- Pause the game (Esc Key) to unlock the mouse cursor from the game window.
- Do you want to know what each guidance type abbreviation means? Check them out below:
- Dumb -> No guidance system. Fly straight.
- Follow -> Point to towards target and GO. Like most missiles in games.
- LOS -> Line of Sight. Similar to follow mode but can loose track of target.
- PN -> Proportional Navigation - More precise.
- Itano -> Follows target while waving towards it.
- Random -> Choose a guidance type randomly.
System Requirements
The game is actively being developed for Windows only at the moment.
Occasionally I'm uploading Linux and Mac builds, however, I'm not able to provide full support for these platforms.

I'm not really able to benchmark it precisely, so let me know if you have any trouble with it. The game is able to run even on the browser, so this is just an idea for a good experience.
Having mentioned that, I was able to run it on a "low-end-ish" desktop that had dedicated graphics only. Also, the game may run on Vulkan & OpenGL 3, however, that needs more testing to be confirmed.
